Fanny Jarl is a Swedish filmmaker based in London.

From 2022–2025, she led all moving-image work for Wildfarmed, building an audience whilst exploring the connection between people, food, and the land. Her latest project is an intimate short documentary featuring Groove Armada’s Andy Cato — musician turned farmer.

Her debut short BEDTIME was exhibited at the Saatchi Gallery in 2022.

 

Her work moves between documentary and fiction, tracing intimacy, memory and the small contradictions that make people human. She’s currently writing her next script.
